Our Story
Emerald was established in 2001 as an innovative sitework construction company covering northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We provided the full range of services from initial clearing and site prep thru final project closeout and restoration.
As the company grew in both size and capability, we took on more difficult and environmentally sensitive projects and earned the reputation as being the acknowledged expert in the field. Emerald came to be known as the company that could "think outside the box", get things done and done right.
Today, Emerald is a respected leader in our industry with ongoing projects throughout the Greater Midwest region. Our long-term partnerships throughout the industry include public utilities, railroads, engineering firms, government entities, national homebuilders and both large and small private firms.
